“When I was considering Bankruptcy, I was very depressed; I was disgusted at life because I felt like a trapped animal, with no way out. My credit cards debt was very high, and I had tried everything possible to deal with it with no success.

At work, I was just physically present, my mind was always wandering elsewhere. I could not concentrate on anything.

I would drive from home to work and vice-versa and not even remembering how I got there. In a nutshell, my stress level was to the roof, I thought my life was over and I wished I could just disappear. All these details are worth mentioning, because if I knew what I know now about Bankruptcy, I would have done it earlier and saved myself the aggravation, and the negativity I submitted my family to.

Two months after filling Bankruptcy, I was discharged of about $50,000 in credit card debt. Now, the entirety of my paycheck is at my disposal. Moreover, I already received an offer for a credit card with 0% APR for 9 months and 24.99% APR thereafter, because my credit report now says I have $0 in credit card debt.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that filing Bankruptcy is a panacea, and will solve all your problems right away. What it does however, is that it gets the monkey off your back with the protection of the law, and gives you another shot at life. It’s up to you to learn from your mistakes and avoid making them again. As far as I’m concerned, I now feel re-born again. I learned through the process to better manage my money, and I feel very much happier and relax. My stress level is normal, and I am very confident about my future.

The moral of the story is that, whenever there is a problem, there is a solution. However getting the right one is very important in determining whether you will feel happier or not at the end. For me Dr. Balbus (as I call him) was the solution I needed.  I went to him petrified, powerless, hopeless, disappointed, ashamed…etc. I honestly did not believe life would ever be normal for me again. Today I am a happier and better person, because of him. He definitely is the debt Doctor.

The way he deals with your debt issues is very respectful, human, reassuring. He puts you at ease, and as you go through the process, you progressively evacuate your stress, and regain you confidence, and hope.

Do not waste time procrastinating; suffering silently, with nobody to help you. Do not think that drinking heavily, or doing drugs, will make your problems disappear. If anything, they will make them worse. Go see Dr. Andrew Balbus, and he will help you make informed decisions about your life.

Thanks again Dr.Balbus.”
